my name is emily. i'm a new new yorker.
i love traveling, meg ryan movies, pizza, feminism, and breakfast food. i wrote my senior thesis on a beyoncé music video. i live up to all stereotypes about loving instagram, brunch, and anything pumpkin-flavored. i frequent bakeries, bookstores, and art museums. summer is my favorite season.
i started this blog to keep in touch with my family, and because i've always been terrible at journal writing. now i'm trying to document my life in the city. feel free to follow along!
