oh my, july!

hi there. sorry for being least consistent blogger in the world... between working full-time and all the other things i've got going on, this summer is crazy busy. does an extra-long post make up for not blogging in forever? yeah? cool then. here you are.

item of business 1.

let's talk about the hill cumorah pageant.

the pageant is one of my favorite things in the world. my family has been in the cast two times and i was also in the cast last summer as a young single adult. every time has been an incredible experience and leaves me wanting to go right back. this year we weren't cast members but we did go see the pageant last weekend and some of our friends are performing in it this year. if you haven't seen the pageant before, go! if you have, go again. i love it so much.

item of business 2.

let's talk about harry potter.

can you believe it's over tonight? i can't. my whole fam is going to the midnight showing, except for liz, who got to see it a whole 2 days early. whaaaat. italian release dates are so unfair. regardless, i couldn't be more excited, but i'm pretty sure i'm going to need some tissues when that movie's over. long live 'arry potta!

let's talk about the rest of summer. i just have a couple more weeks of work, then a lot of exciting stuff planned. i'm psyched. here's the rundown:

this cute girl gets home from italy.

bethany beach weekend.

girls camp.

i'm stake activities director for camp this year! i'm loving it—this calling is right up my alley.

week in new york city with the fam!

more on this later. i'm basically in charge of planning it, and it's going to be SO GREAT.

then road trippin' it out to utah with these two crazies.
